What we provide

Osmium VPS rents out virtual private servers (VPS). The servers run in our partners' data centres; we order, set up and look after them for you.

The services are provided using the infrastructure of third-party data centres and technology partners. Osmium VPS is the provider of the service and is responsible to the customer under these terms.

The specs, location and price of a plan are those shown on the site when you order.

Your account

Ordering needs an account with a working email. You are responsible for your password and for everything done from your account and on your servers.

The service is for people aged 18 and over.

Payment and term

Services are paid in advance for the chosen period, which starts when access is handed over.

A server is not renewed: 2 days after the end of its term it is switched off and its data may be deleted 7 days later. To continue, order a new server.

We may change prices for new orders. A period already paid is not recalculated.

Limits

Use of servers is governed by the Acceptable Use Policy. If it is broken we may suspend or delete the server without a refund.

We are not responsible for the data on your server. Keep backups.

Limitation of liability

We are liable only for direct damage caused by our fault, up to the amount paid for the service over the last 3 months. We are not liable for lost profit, lost data or indirect damage.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation of a server and there is no set compensation for downtime (see the availability page). This does not limit rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

Disputes

Please contact support or support@osmiumvps.com first — we answer claims within 10 working days. If no agreement is reached, the dispute is settled as provided by law.

Changes

We may change these terms with at least 7 days' notice by email or in the dashboard. Periods already paid keep the old terms.
